Simple and Easy Homemade Pizza
Never thought about making your won pizza? Well it\’s actually really simple to do and I\’ll show you how here. If you follow these steps the likelihood is that you\’ll have a delicious Pizza in no time.
The base of the pizza is probably the part of making the pizza that you are most worried about. But there is a way to cheat and that is to buy the base yourself. That\’s right just buy the base from a supermarket and you will be up and ready to add your toppings in no time.
Now you want to get some tomato puree, or crushed tomatoes, or even a nice pizza sauce with lots of tomatoes in it and put it all over your pizza base. Use a knife or spatula to get this done really well. Spread it as thick as you like.
Now you want to put some cheese on your rapidly taking shape pizza. Just slice or grate some cheese onto your base. The type of cheese you use is up to you. Remeber you\’re making your own pizza so everything is your decision. That\’s the best part about having complete control over your dinner! Just make sure there aren\’t too many gaps, unless you don\’t want too much cheese.
Now you really are in control and can do whatever you like with your pizza creation. You could add Pepperoni, or another type of sausage, spicy beef, tuna and sweetcorn. The world of food is your Oyster, you could even add Oysters!
In Italy where the original pizza came from they just used to use olives with tomato and cheese but you probably aren\’t making this pizza in a restaurant so do whatever you want.
Kids love pizza, well, most do anyway, so have them helping you. It\’s usually fun for them and they get to know their way around the kitchen a bit better which definitely helps them in the future. Making their own pizza might save them a bit of money in the future too.
Now it\’s the time to get the pizza into the oven. It usually takes around fifteen minutes and the oven shouldn\’t be too hot otherwise it will burn. How big the pizza is and the size of the base will vary the cooking times too so be careful not to overcook or undercook your pizza.
Be careful with your oven and the cooking times. If you are putting chicken or another meat onto the pizza you don\’t want it to not be cooked enough so make sure your oven is nice and hot before you start.
