Lillie
Drink lots of water and green tea (cause they 1) fill you 2) have barely any calories 3) speed up your metabolism [but the water will have to be cold for this, green tea is fine at any temperature to speed your metabolic rate])
Exercise
Dont eat 4 hours before you sleep – your metabolic rate slows down as you sleep
Read the calorie labels
Set realistic goals
Identify your ideal weight (this table will tell you – http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/bmi_tbl.htm
)
Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night to raise your metabolism

Exercise:
Cardio
Run
- you burn many calories, (especially if you add hills and sprints)
- A 145-lb person can burn 300 (at 5.2 mph) in 30 minutes.
Cross-Country Skiing
- A 145-lb person burns about 330 calories during 30 minutes of skiing.
but, ease into it as its hard
Bike
- 250-500 calories in 30 minutes, depending on how fast you go and how high your resistance is.
- you use all the power in your legs for this too
Swimming
- you use your whole body
- 30 minutes doing breast-stroke and can burn almost 400 calories.
Step Aerobics
- Step is one tough workout that targets your legs, butt and hips while burning almost 400 calories in 30 minutes
Rock-climbing
- 380 calories burnt in 30 minutes,
- you use strength and power with your arms and legs
Walking
- 180 calories in 30 minutes. Adding hills, sprints or even a few minutes of jogging can increase the amount of calories you burn.
- walk briskly
- keep you head up, back straight and swing your arms.
Cardio is also good as…
It’s one way to burn calories and help you lose weight
It makes your heart strong so that it doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood
It increases your lung capacity
It helps reduce risk of heart attack, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes
It makes you feel good
It helps you sleep better
It helps reduce stress

You have some really good advice here but I did not read all of them so I may be repeating something someone else says but here goes. The best and most important thing I can tell you is NOT to eat after 7pm. The worst thing anyone can do if they want to lose weight is to eat at night because everything turns to fat. Another thing is do not drink sodas. You would be surprised at how much weight you can lose by just not drinking sodas; they are full of sugar. If you have to have one drink diet. I know diet sodas taste terrible to people who do not drink them but the best ones are Diet Mountain Dew and Diet Dr Pepper. The final piece of advice is exercise but there is not a lot of motivation to that. You need to find some friends that you have something in common with like dancing or roller blading or hiking, etc…and do it with all your friends. If you make exercise a social thing it is a lot more fun and you will be more motivated to stick to it!
