Diets are generally not sustainable and when a person thinks about going on a diet they often have the feeling of being deprived.

Next, you actually haven’t provided a great deal of information. There are so many factors to take into consideration when it comes to designing healthy eating plans and an effective exercise program.

With respect to the latter, as well as the exercise program being safe and effective, it needs to involve activities that your daughter enjoys otherwise adherence is likely to be low. You could also consider activities that you could do together.

Just today I saw a man jogging with his two small sons – it was a lovely image. However, I’m not suggesting that your daughter takes up jogging – far from it. At this stage I’d recommend brisk walking or power walking instead.

Emotional and self-esteem issues are often at the heart of weight gain and if this is the case here then it will be important to clear these issues out of the way otherwise any success achieved will be fleeting.

Good afternoon..I saw your question and had to answer because there are so many products out there that it can be overwhelming and frustrating. I used to weigh around 230 and now weigh 140. I didn’t take a single diet pill to lose a pound of that Weight. I started by doing the first 2 weeks of the Atkins diet and I lost about 15 lbs in those 2 weeks. I stayed on the program but didn’t follow it faithfully. I kind off came up with my own thing, but if I cheated not only did I feel terrible but I just did another week or 2 of strictly watching my carbs. The program I still rely on teaches you not only how to eat but shows you what exercises to do to really burn the fat and really sculpt your body. The exercises were not strenuous at all. I have kept the weight off for 5-6 years and I have never felt healthier. Healthy living is my passion and I want to help as many people as I can.
