A New Type of Diet Guide | Can You DIG it?

Yo-Yo No-No

I have settled in to a plan for long term optimum health and am trying to steer clear of damaging fad diets. I feel that as a result of my new habits… this last 15 pounds WILL come off sooner or later. Once again, monthly hormones and water weight shows up on the scale.

It’s the second day of Winter here now so I am DEFINITELY looking forward to the summer. :D It’s much more important that you are happy and healthy than focused on losing that small amount of weight, that doesn’t mean you have to forget it’s there but I’m sure you are right, summer can make it a lot easier. It’s winter here now and I am craving carby, hot, yummy things! You look great, glad you had a good time on Memorial Day. I will have to Google what that is

    xoxoxo

Look at my SKINNY TWIN! Yeah, that’s pretty much the conclusion that I’ve come to as well. I keep freakin out about my weight… then think “Sarah, wtf are you thinking!? You’ve lost almost 200 lbs!!” the weight will come off, when it comes on. You’re doing awesome girl!! And if you feel “normal”, then that’s all that matters! Don’t deprive yourself!! Ends up being bad! LOVE YA! ♥

I just keep reminding myself of the BASICS: Protein first, so I feel the restriction of my pouch, don’t drink with meals or for 30-60 minutes after, I shoot for 12 cups of water a day, and 80-100 grams of protein. Best wishes on your maintenance and eventually reaching that “goal”. How are the Chickens doing in their Grand Hen house?

Great update! I can totally relate to feeling good where you are at, I told myself the exact same thing, now that I am 1 yr post-op, I would be happy to lose the rest of my weight over the next year. You look great, very healthy, that is important! Keep it up girl :)

You look awesome….. I’m having major water retention issues at this point, I’m 17 months post op and am struggling with the last few pounds, but during that one “horrible” week a month I call it the F-5 week, I go up then down Friggin 5 lbs.
